Has anyone fitted one or a Split on their 22 yet?
The Denali site suggests the fitting kit for the old bike fits the new one, not convinced about that tbh

I can't see how the mount for the previous models would work- IIRC, it bolted to the engine and/or frame (or was it radiator or crash bars) on the Gen 1-3.

Different engine, different bolts and locations.

You might be able to make it work.

My bracket for the Gen 2 is still hanging in my garage- I couldn't use it because my crash bars got in the way.  If you use the right diameter clamp mount, it could go on your frame or crash bar.

Ok say it did fit on my frame or crash bar, what else is required to make it work, wiring etc?

As you usually get a relay with the Soundbomb you'd probably only need this wiring kit:

I bet you are looking at the clamp-style mount and not the bracket they offered for the previous models, then.

It comes with a very sturdy wiring harness and relay and the instructions are excellent.

You just have to find a suitable mounting spot, then run the wiring- order the kit Will mentioned.  I forgot that was separate.

You'll tap into one side of your horn to trigger the included relay, and the relay will feed power from the batter to your horn.  It's wired direct to the battery (with the relay to trigger it) because the horn draws something like 30 amps.

It's very load and get people's attention.

I've mounted a mini sound bomb tucked in the left fairing.



Used the thin mount bracket that came with it - I removed the circled bolt and slid the thin plate between the two parts, then re-inserted the bolt.



Ran a jumper cable from the original connection to the horn.



Under the plastic cover, across the top of the frame an down a gap near the radiator hoses on the left side.




Not as loud as the full unit but better than the original horn.

Having just watched the video from Guy YMX on the Side Panels Gen 4 thread, I’d say it’d make the routing of the cables much easier.

Thanks for that, Denali have come back to me, there is no kit for the new bike (or one coming) and he suggested trying a universal crash bar adapter but I dont think the Tiger bars are big enough to take the bomb and bracket
