So I finally got the new parts in for the slave cylinder on the clutch. When I put in the new slave cylinder and bled the line, the clutch is either too stiff or not stiff enough. I tried to change that and I am not able to do anything. I tried to start the bike and when it is in neutral, it is working fine. When I put it in gear, I can no longer increase the RPMs at all. Would anyone have any suggestions? I am at a complete loss.

How did you bleed the clutch? I would recommend something like a cheap Mityvac which is what I use. You need to make sure that you get all of the air out of the system.

So about a month ago I asked a question on here about my clutch and it came back that it is probably my slave cylinder. It took a month for a new one to come in. I got the old one off but now I can't tell of it is the part I need and how to replace it. The picture with the gasket is the new slave cylinder and the other is the old one. The little part with the ball at the end is the part I have a question about. Do I have to take the ball out of there? It looks and feels like there is some ripped up metal on it. Do I even need the part at all as I'm putting the new slave cylinder on. I couldn't even find any real pics of it online while doing my searching. Any suggestions would help.

What did you figure out about the part with the ball that seemed damaged?

It actually welded itself to the slave cylinder, that ball is part of the slave cylinder and the other part in the lifter piece.

Not yet, installed the new parts and still nothing. Going to take everything apart this weekend.
