    Good one, Icy.  Something I didn't know.  No charge on us!
    -Club ride today, and it's wet around here, so I don't think there will be any static buildup, with or without the antenna tread.

    Good find Icy!

    However, they say that cars have it also and judging by how frequently my PT Cruiser tries to electrocute me, I'd say it's only moderately effective (I'll still check my cheapo current tyres for this antenna, just to make sure ;-)!

    I have that very tyre in that article, the Bridgestome BT-023 and had googled that a while back to find out what it was. It is very visible on that tyre. It is dead straight and a little off centre.

    Yeah - I know it exists in my favorite shoes Anakee IIIs (below picture is NOT mine, grabbed it from some online forum)



    But I wonder if it also exists in knobbies... It could, right? I mean it's a matter of rubber compounding...
