Got the skid plate and the heat shield back from my buddy.  Satin black.  Looks so mean and it's now super easy to clean up if needed.  The black heat shield is also a nice touch of black.  Bike just looks more aggressive.  Beats having to buy a SW Motech, Touratech or H&B skid plate that weighs three times as much as the OEM and costs three times as much as it would to powdercoat it.  Love the way it turned out.

Looks absolutely amazing! The all white makes it look a lot like the cop bikes they use here although they are Tiger 900s.

Thanks BasilB!  Loving how this bike is turning out now that more and more accessories are coming out for it.

Got in the triumph sequential LED turn signals from Triumph Cleveland.  Roadvirus had tested them out and they worked for the front.  However, they don't work on the rear of the US version Tigers because we have switchbacks that operate as turn signals and brake lights...and they flash red.  These only flash amber and only serve as turn signals.  Therefore, they will throw an error code if installed in the rear.

They came out sick!  Love the way they look.  Got rid of those OEM dumbo ears and the sequential ambers put off a solid amount of light.

I did an install video of them below.

In Aus we get these as an option in the configurator and it's strange that Triumph haven't worked out an option for the rear that works in the US. "Foreign" cars in the US have independently wired indicator lights don't they?

I'm not sure as I'm not fancy with many electronics and lighting.  But I would think they are independent but I've also seen applications where they are one and the same.  There are some things I like about Euro standards and some things I like about US standards.  What blows my mind that it's 2023 and we all ave different standards...what's the point even?  It's like with exhausts...in California because of CARB, we can't even put on aftermarket exhausts and many manufacturers won't sell or ship to California, yet I don't know a single bike that has a stock exhaust on it.  It's dumb.  Weird laws man, I'll tell ya...

I've only been to the US once but did a lot of driving there. I was pretty sure that imported cars had amber flashing lights and red stop/night lights which is the same everywhere else. US cars had the same red lights for indicating and stop (at least that's what my memory says lol). I do remember thinking that was pretty weird. Looking forward to being back in the US in a couple months but not on a bike unfortunately.

What's even crazier is that there are a few things that even differ from state to state, I believe.  And yes, some models have amber turn signals and others are incorporated within the brake/taillight and flash red.  Whereabouts in the US are you visiting?

I can see that I'm not the only one having trouble removing the little grey cover...
I think it's a good place to hide a GPS tracker!
