I think it's a good place to hide a GPS tracker!

Ya the first side was a little iffy because I didn't want to break any clips but once you remove it once, you know how to wiggle it.  The other side took me a couple seconds once you know how much pressure you can apply.

Alaska and Washington State. 2 weeks in Canada as well. Did a lot of car driving in the Western & Mid West States 8 years ago. Magnificent scenery for motorbike riding and it's easy to see why big cruisers are popular on those roads. Looking to do a route66 ride in say 2025.

Gotcha.  Yep, it's gorgeous up there.  Ya, you drive alot of our roads across this country and folks quickly realize why Harley is what Harley is.  Those bikes were built for our roads.

I ride my Harley way more than I ride my Tiger here in SoCal, and I know exactly what you mean.  :467:

Lol. Actually, followed  a bunch of Harley's going up to Dantes Peak lookout in death valley. They were really struggling on steep winding road.  One guy dropped his bagger going too slowly around a hairpin bend. I ride that sort of road all the time on my big thunderbird bagger with no problems at all 😀.  Just used to it.

Well we also have a lot of yuppies down here who want to ride 900lb baggers who have no business being on a motorcycle.

    your bike is looking amazing.

I am looking locally (Seattle area) for a place to do power coating just for the barkbuster aluminum parts.

I wasn't convinced on the white crash bars etc but now mine are already starting to corrode. I'm really disappointed in the cheap finishes on these parts for a "top of the line" bike :(

The skid plate in black is a definite upgrade too, really looks awesome.

If your friend doing the powder coating would ever share the 'mix' or pantone (?) or whatever specs for the colors it'd be nice to know.

    Thanks

    Thank you!

    My buddy uses PPG Powdercoat.

Barkbuster guards: Textured black (match the handlebars perfectly)

Pannier mounts/Rear passenger pegs & mounts: Matte White (matches frame perfectly)
