First off, helmets are duty-free - apparently :-)) But textile jackets and pants are not, sadly :-))

For those who are wondering exactly how much it costs in customs duties for a textile Jacket & Trouser set ordered from Motorcard.com. I'm not sure if this is per state or per country either.

    This was my order

REVIT Poseidon 2 GTX Silver / Black (M) Units: 1
    $595.03

Poseidon 2 GTX Silver / Anthracite
REVIT Poseidon 2 GTX Silver / Anthracite (M) Units: 1
    $785.12

    Seesoft RV Blue / Black
REVIT Seesoft RV Blue / Black (05) Units: 1
    $52.06

    Shipping
    Free shipping
    -$81.04

    Discount
PROMOTIONAL CODE Solidarity code: up to an EXTRA 20% off
    -$214.83

    Delivery costs
    $0.00

    Total
    $1,217.38

Which was a phenomenal deal. They shipped within the week via UPS (2/3/2023) and it's out for delivery as of today. So, I will receive it in 3 days!!! Again phenomenal shipping & delivery. And here's the customs bill for this order came a few minutes ago from UPS.

    Brokerage Charges:
    $15.20
    Freight Charges:
    $0.00
    Customs Charges:
    $336.53

Which brings the order up to $1,569.11. Had I ordered the same things from RevZilla I would have paid $1,497.47. $71.64 delta...

It's officially NOT a phenomenal deal at all. The only consolation price is that RevZilla didn't have the set in all white and that I paid for that... I guess...

    And now you know :-)

Nah. I had a very bad year, business-wise. Global economic situation threw a huge wrench in all our operations. I'm still dealing with the aftermath... I didn't feel like doing anything since last July actually. Trying to pull it together for the coming year...  :821:

Sorry to hear that, Brother.  Last year was a tough one for a lot of us, whether employed or retired. Times will get better... :821:
