Triumph Tiger 1200 2017 XCA - ABS, OCTC and Speedo failure

Hi everyone - Apologies if this is the wrong thread, but it is ABS related so I'm hoping it's OK.
I have a 2017 Triumph Tiger 1200 XCA which I've had for over three years and it's been fine.
Just had it's 20,000 mile service and all was good (apart from costing me an arm and a leg!)
The other day though, I started it up and it reported that the OCTC has been disabled and the ABS warning light is on and the speedometer no longer works.
I thought it might be a dodgy speed sensor, but I got myself an ODBII cable and TigerTool v3.3 and plugged it in and it reports:
C1613 rear wheel sensor short circuit to ground or open circuit
P1136 cornering traction control disabled due to IMU malfunction.
Anybody got any suggestions as to what my next move is?
Local Triumph dealer can't fit me in until the middle of May and I ride every day!!
Thanks
NiK

Sorry, but when I had this exact set of symptoms it "simply" was the rear speed sensor that had been torn apart (for some unknown reason).
Of course you checked your sensor is still there, right?

I like your thinking, but yes, the sensor is definitely still there.
I've also checked the wire but that looks OK too.
I've booked the bike in for the 9th May, but was hoping that I might be able to sort it before then as I ride it every day and need it to get to work :-(

It's going from bad to worse.
Today, riding home from work and the fuel guage stopped working!!
So now, there's no OCTC, ABS, Speedo, Fuel Guage or Hill Hold and I don't that the TSAS is working either as I'm sure the forks are diving more than normal.
It's like a total electronic melt-down!

Riding without knowing your speed is indeed a frightening experience!
But emergency braking without ABS is even much more! Increase your safety margin!
Complete elec meltdown happened to me (the bike was three months old). It took T weeeeks to have it sorted (ECU bug!!!).
At least your bike still fires up...
Fingers crossed!

Don't know if anyone followed this post, but I thought I'd give an update.
I booked the bike in to Youles Triumph in Blackburn (where I got the bike from) - eventually. I had to wait a month for an appointment slot.
I told them that I had already run the diagnostics on it and suspected it was a rear wheel sensor.
They said that they'd check it out anyway.
They too ran the diagnostics and came to exactly the same conclusion as me (but charged me £60 for the priviledge!!).
They did say that it was unlikely to be a problem with the IMU and probably just the speed sensor as if there are any failures of components plugged in to the IMU then it can register a failure on that too.
They then said that they actually had a speed sensor in stock and could fit it for me that day.
Fantastic I said, how much is that...
wait for it
£420
Yes, £420 to fit it!!!
They said that the sensor would be £112 and the rest is labour!
Needless to say, I told them to jog on.
I got myself a second-hand sensor off eBay for £35 and fitted it myself.
Everything is now back to normal and working brilliantly.
Still can't quite believe that the fuel guage depends on the sensor somehow.
So, for any 2017 Tiger 1200 riders out there, if you get a TC failure, or ABS failure, or loss of speedometer, or fuel guage, or Hill Hold - check out that rear wheel speed sensor first!
(Also, if you struggle to find a rear speed sensor for a Tiger 1200, the one for the Triumph Street Triple 765 RS 2017-2019 is the same, and probably the same on other Triumphs of the same period too)

I work in IT and you can read some angry rants from me on this forum about Triumph (utterly total lack of) IT skills.
It wouldn't matter if modern bikes weren't basically various parts, all managed by a central computer...
