New from the US

Hello All:

I am new to the forum, obviously.  I am in the process of purchasing a 2023 1200 GT Explorer in Blue.  Should be picking it up early next week.  So my post is a little premature but I have a free moment now and didn't want to lose my enthusiastic momentum. 

I have been riding for a few years and tried a couple different bikes out before really clicking with this Tiger.  If you are curious, I did try the R1250 GSA and liked it but less so than the Tiger.  To me the GSA felt very solid but isolated.  The Tiger feels more adventurous like a mountain bike - which I like. 

I will look into the wisdom of the group for farkle recommendations and technical information on this wonderful machine.  I have already read up on the limitations for mounting my Zumo XT :( . 

I'm not an avid rider nor an avid poster so forgive me if any responses are slow or posts about adventures are sparse.  We still have a couple kiddos at home plus work keeps me pretty busy with adulting instead of touring.
