Sadly my beloved Tiger died on Monday.
Catastrophic mechanical engine failure involving cam chain, valves and piston.
Due to a ferry booking in two weeks, I’ve had to replace it with a new bike.
Considering selling my Tiger to someone who could either replace the engine and use it, or sell it. Or otherwise break it up for spares. It’s a 2015 Gen 1. Owned by me from new (October 2014). 62,000 miles but you’d never guess it to look at it.
Parts well worth thinking about:
Powder-coated wheels (silver) with newish tyres and brand new TPMS sensors.
Nitron shock (2 years old)
Front forks, final drive, frame, tank, bodywork etc. etc. pretty much everything except the engine!
