Welcome to the forum from Oz.
After I'd made the mistake of test riding a Tiger in 2015, I tried to get a ride on a Super Tenere to compare, without success.  So Tiger it was.  Now on my second one.
I'd be interested in hearing about the differences you notice.

(I also tried a BMW GS1200, didn't like it from the start.  Guess they've improved since then.)

I rode the tenere for a year I actually bought it from another state they are really hard to find here, so I had never even rode one before but I liked it so I bought it. I kept seeing youtube videos saying how boring they are which made no sense to me because it did everthing I asked from it....Ten I test rode a tiger yesterday and soon realized how damn boring my tenere was.   Now I have a bright and shiny tiger and a pissed off wife because I bought a new motorcycle. I have owned a GS before and I wasn't to impressed, but I was actually thinking about going back to a GS .....up to and until I test rode the tiger and I new in the 1st 5 miles I was buying it

Funny you should say that.  Before my first Tiger, I had a Yamaha XJ900S Diversion (two of them, S/H).  I read an article in an Australian bike magazine about how boring they were.  I was offended, but guess it must have been right.   :002:

The Tenere is a really comfortable bike and very smooth it just doesn't have any thrills with it....it's just a bike. It feels like you are riding a slow semi heavy bike...at 600lbs the word semi sounds funny but Yamaha did a good job at making it feel like it isn't so heavy but the tiger and the Tenere are definitely 2 different bikes that look very similar. My wife isn't really thrilled with me spending that much cash because she thinks I just bought the same bike again. Try telling someone that knows nothing about motorcycles that they are very different....It is just easier to deal with her anger.

    Hi and welcome from France!

Colorado is easy to find good music! Here is the obvious (a bit dance-ish for my taste but still good musci ;-)
