Do you have them fitted Bruce? If so did you use the adhesive strips or the rivets to secure them? I saw the other info on the pyramid website last night but was wanting to know if anyone with a RE actually has the experience of having them on their bike.

    Cheers

This on a GTX but it's the same as the RX. Even with rivets you do use some double sided tape to secure the edges. These need to be clamped for a while to make sure the adhesive holds in place.

No not yet. But a fellow RE driver, in the Netherlands, has the front one installed and not even used the rivets. Only the tape. The braces are extremely solid, he stated.

I used the strips and the mounts.  Didn't use the rivets.
The only issue I had is the instructions are not clear the strips should be on and i stuck them to the wrong side

Mine is on  Gen3..but having looked at the gen4 guard front - no diff. Absolutely worth it. Your radiator(s) are different mounts. So your "impact" from detritus may be less. But on Gen 3 the large central radiator fan attracted small road chips. TWICE my bike overheated on separate rides...and when I checked the radiator I found small chips wedged between fan blade tip and the shroud. Enough to stop the fan starting.
