GT Pro - Brake Pad Replacement Torque Specs

    Hi Guys,

I'm looking to replace the front and rear pads on the Tiger 1200 GT Pro and would like to get some advice from the community here.

    EBC Parts finder suggests these:
    FA447HH - Front - EBC Sintered Double H Pads
    FA213HH - Rear  - EBC Sintered Double H Pads

Has anyone got the torque specs to hand for the retaining pins and bolts?
Is there anything special to be aware of when replacing these?
I had a Honda NC700X before this and replaced the pads a number of times.

    Thanks

I have that info and will try to post it today.

I do not recommend those brake pads.  I ran them for a number of years with good success.  But in the past two years I put them on two different bikes and they “dragged” badly. I kept thinking it was related to how I mounted them. The first bike I improved it to a point then just lived with it.  The second bike nothing I did made it even remotely acceptable. I bought a different brand pad and they did not drag at all.

    Thanks Jim,

I had a few sets of the Double H's on the NC700X over the years and was hoping I'd get the same performance out of them on the Tiger.
    What pads would you recommend?

    Thanks again
    Tom

Very sorry I did not get back to you.  I was swamped preparing for a trip with our travel trailer. We are on the trip right now and I’m not sure if I have access to torque values. Will check.

I put Vesrah on a bike and really like them.
