Vibes on tiger Rally Explorer 2022

    Hi fellow riders!

Have anyone experience excessive engine vibes and sluggish acceration from 3.5k rpm onwards?

It simply happens one fine day and gives me the feeling that the engine is "hollow".

Ive been riding the tiger rally ex for close to a year now. And i do know the tplane configuration has vibes at certain rpm. But certainly not at 3.5k.

Before i take it to the dealer, i would like to seek the opinion of fellow riders here first.

    TIA!

If it’s just started obviously something isn’t right. Sounds like it could be a spark plug, lead or coil. I’d start there. Actually no, I start by taking it to a dealer.

    Hi !
Just a little vibration around 110 km/h (in the mirrors, but it's very small).
No holes when accelerating, quite the opposite :)

As it turns out, it is a pretty simple fix.

For some reasons, the screw of the evotech bar end weights on the throttle side has came loose. So it apparently gives the impression of excessive and hollow vibes when accelerating.

Only found out when i saw my handguards flopping.  :033:

Well i believe it may be due to the excessive vibes that im subconciously not pushing/throttling as hard as usual in case something is really wrong with the engine.

Whenever you unscrew your barends/handguards, ALWAYS apply some Loctite (or nail polish ;-) on the thread before rescrewing, or you're screwed ;-)

(of course, don't ask how I know)

No, no, it's not that. The barends are screwed on tight at home.
