Help needed to pair Garmin XT2

    Hi All,

Apologies if already dealt with on the forum but couldn't find anything using Search...

Looking for help as can't get my brand new Tiger 1200 RE and Garmin XT2 (latest software) to pair with each other.

XT2 finds the bike, starts the pairing handshake then very briefly flashes 'cannot pair to Tiger' (or something similar).

My understanding is that you should use the Tiger as the Bluetooth Hub rather than, for example, the iPhone; have I got this wrong?

I've repeatedly deleted off all existing pairings on both Tiger and XT2 (& iPhone) but can't get Tiger and XT2 to talk to each other.

Any advice will be gratefully received.

    TIA, Touring_Dave.

It wont happen. The Triumph system will only connect to a bluetooth phone and not a Garmin unit

Only BMW have garmin integration and then it has to be the BMW Navigator unit rather than the standard Garmin.I suggest moving on you use the garmin as the hub and forget about the bike system. At least you will have consistency, if you have your phone paired to both you will get conflicts on connections
