    Hello again!

Well after my last post on here (back in 2020 I think) saying I'd be back on a 1200, I wasn't. I ended up buying a 900 Rally Pro, which was pretty bloody awesome to be honest.

A lot happened in 2020. The joys of lockdown. Retirement from policing for me, after a real struggle with injury and PTSD. Buying my first ever completely brand new bike (the 900) and then a move from Norfolk (the UK one) to Orkney to take some time out. The latter was a great way to reset in peace & quiet, and swimming in a very cold but crystal clear sea.

We moved back to England after 6 months (Yorkshire) and I unfortunately needed to sell the 900 (along with my lovely GPz900r & VFR750) to help fund a house purchase, although I'm happy to say I kept in touch with the fellow VFR enthusiast & bought it back a couple of months ago.

Anyway, what's this got to do with the Tiger 1200? Well, finally, I got my arse in gear and bought another yesterday. It's a 2020 Gen3 XRt, 11k miles & FDSH on the 'Triumph Approved' thing and needless to say I'm pretty bloody chuffed to be back on a big Trumpet- I've really missed the big triple and shaft drive.

It's good to be back and I'll look forward to catching up on here.

Brilliant bikes, bought mine after having a Trophy SE for 3 years. Can't beat the big triple and shaft drive.

Some great roads down your way  :467:

There are some nice ones pal, I love the Dales especially. That said, I'd much rather still be North of the border. Even though it's small I was surprised how much fun I had riding in Orkney too.

:400: back, Bob! It's good to see your name in big blue letters on the screen again.  I hope you haven't forgotten the unwritten rule though. You need to post a pic of that TEXRt for all of us here! :821:

I'll have to try and remember how to add a photo (and take a decent one!) but, in the meantime, mine is a white one.
Just fitted a set of Barkbusters for all the gnarly trails I'll NEVER do on this bike. Still, they look better than the standard jobbies  :008:
