    Good Afternoon Peeps ...
    I have a very nice 2018 Gen 3 1200 XRt.
I have one key fob / transponder.
Can I purchase a 2nd one and will it interfere with the 1st ?
My previous bike had 2, which mad me feel at ease while touring  in case I lost / broke one. Not good when your in a different country.
    Thanks in Advance.

    I don't know but if it's possible, I expect a stratospherical price ;-)

In case of losing your fob, you can still use your spare key passively by placing it on the rear left side of the bike to start it up (first thing I tried when I got mine Mk3 back in '18).

Thank you. I didn't know I could start with a passive key. I'll try mine.
Transponder is about £300 I think. Will prob need programming as well.

Most modern bikes no longer have Books.
This was pre owned, so no chance.
    I appreciate the reply.

You should be able to download a manual in your language from your local Triumph website.
The Australian website does it by VIN.

My 2023 came with a Book and a huge binder. What bike is not coming with a book?

Mine only came with one FOB.  It did also come with as others have said, a binder and an owners manual.  The keyless FOBs are an issue for me.   I have owned my used 2018 XTR for 4 months and the battery in that FOB has died twice.  I even went so far as to "turn off" the FOB while not using the bike.  It still went dead on its own and would not start the engine.  Found a new out of the package CR2032 battery measures 3.3 volts.  In my dead FOB, the battery measures 3.0 volts and wont start the bike. And yes, I put the dead FOB near the sensor in the chassis and got the bike started, but a message on the TFT, warned the FOB out of range!

This keyless option is enough of a pain, I am thinking I will trade the bike in on another triumph with a key, instead of this FOB crap.
