Would you please stop bragging about England's resilience?
The last time your soil was invaded by foreign boots should have been in 1688 or so!

PS: I'd like to have the same decorated panniers as yours!

The SHAD cases cost as a pair around 400-450€, the whole set for 2016-2018 Explorer including mount and bags for cases sosts less than 700€, you only lose 2 litres over the Dolomiti but the system is about 2,5 kilos lighter and the mount ca stay on the bike and is hardly noticeable.

SHAD make many OEM Bags, including BMW (GS Vario) and Yamaha (Super Tenere).

From behind the proportions are looking very good:

I see that Shad claims the T0XP16IF mounting brackets only fit from 2016-on. I'd very much like to use the SH35 cases with my 2015 TEX. Are there frame differences between 2015 and 2016 that I'm not seeing that would keep the brackets from fitting a 2015?

These are my panniers. They are Hepco & Becker Junior Flash. I’ve the side plates and the 2 plates on the topcase sprayed in almost (95%) the color of my 2018 Tiger XCa.

I can confirm that the Shad 3P side case brackets fit on a 2015 Tex, despite Shad listing them only for 2016-2019.

The right side extends 25mm farther from the frame than the left side. Not quite symmetrical, but not glaringly so to me.

I don't have the side cases yet. A $200 experiment was as far as I would go without knowing the brackets would fit.

Shad SH35 side cases on my 2015 TEx, despite Shad not listing the 2015:
