Lack of experience shouldn't be a problem on the oil & filter / brakes / etc course. Each of the tasks is self contained and I'd make sure you got to do something like the oil change which is straightforward, and you were watching on while others did the more involved tasks. I'll be talking you through the whole thing so you won't have any problems.

When it comes to servicing, I think there's a lot of fearing the unknown. It isn't rocket science, and I'm sure you'll keep up better than you're expecting to.

I'm sure that during the day the conversation will go off in all kinds of directions and answer all sorts of questions. If you're new to the whole thing, then being involved in this discussion will help you to feel more comfortable about servicing your own bike.

This is great, many thanks for being so accommodating, Mark!   To be fair, if I walked away feeling confident with the basic maintenance then I'd be as chuffed as.   More than happy to step back and watch others perform the more technical aspects.

Hi Mark,
I have your manual and it's great, I've recommended it to others as well.
I would like to go on the mailing list for when this starts up. It sounds like a great idea and over time I think I'd do all 3 courses.

Thank you

Pete

Thanks Pete,
I'll drop you a line in the New Year when I have some specific dates in mind.
Cheers, Mark

Quick  update - this is still very much an active thing, but my house move to Anglesey has been delayed for several weeks.

I'll post another update when I'm a bit nearer to offering specific course dates. All the best, Mark
