Got back from my ride to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska a couple of weeks ago. Now I have 122,145 miles (196,145 km) on my '12 Gen 1 Explorer and still rides well. The biggest problem on the trip of just over 12,000 miles (19,122 km) was that the low beam  on the headlights failed. I replaced the bulbs and all is ok.

The bike is a definite keeper and I am keeping it!

Hello TEX owners.

Are there any that is still happy  :152: with the TEX ?

And Tiger 1200 can apply  :047:

Per

After only one year that I said I was happy with my bike, sadly now I have to say a big NO.

Reliability problems during this year have been a real nightmare. Bike has spent more time at service than on the road.

I had to call to assistance during my last two trips, and my holidays have been ruined for two times. Last one was a really big engine failure, a broken valve, so I had to replace engine head, camshaft, valves... A front-end broken, an entire cardan, gearbox sensor, front light melted... Of course I have to say my bike's maintenance has been absolutly perfect, even better than Triumph's service guide... And everything has been fixed under warranty (after a litlle claims...), but I am ordering an Africa Twin, tired of my bike poor reliability. I don't trust in Triumph anymore.

Loved mine that much that I've just sold it, bought a Gen 2 and one for the Missus and she's not even got her full licence yet. But she will have. Planning next year's adventures already
