I know this is a GS but do you reckon this will work with the TEX?

Yes that's the right way to do it. I've managed to lift an 800lb Rocket using that method. A Tex (or GS) is a midget compared to that.

1984Rider has it. Just remember to put the sidestand down though - the Tex comes up quicker than you'd think.

 :0461: That's the way to do it.......but they should also demonstrate how to do it if the bike is down on the other side so you can't put the side stand out.

For a TEX or a GS style/type of bike
The first is the easiest. They do come up quick.
