    One tip I like is this.

    If dropped on a slope, use a zip tie to put the front brake on.

    Then when you get back on the bike, pull the brake a bit more and ease the zip tie off.

    Lifting the bike and then chasing it down the road is not going to end well.

    Though I simply prefer putting the bike in gear. But then again I never dropped on a slope steep enough to cause that chevy chase situation  :745:

    If it’s dropped to the right, sure. Not so easy when dropped to the left. Although most times it will be in gear.
