Mate until you have ridden with a far superior shock like a Wilbers you wont understand just how crap the stock suspension is.

The axle seal is supposed to be relatively easy to replace. The drive shaft seal, is harder to get to. Triumph just want to replace the entire drive.

Happened to me. Aluminium hub completely wore out all the splines and separated from the axle. That was a pain in the arse because I was in Nagaland in India at the time. A sh#t design. Apparently now theres a guy in Brazil making replacement hubs. The entire FD is rebuildable if you have the right equipment and know how to use it.

I have used RAM Mounts on several Quads (extensive off rod)on vehicles and now my tiger.  Never a problem.  Mind you have found fakes before, I buy direct from Rammount always.

Thank you for the update Pailton, 👍 it sounds like they are worth giving a try. I like to push it along through the twisty bits and I don’t think the stock tyres are too bad but look forward to getting a pure road tyre on the bike. When you had the Metzelers on did you get annoying road noise at 55mph? I get an annoying droning noise at 55mph but I am not convinced it’s tyre noise. I have tried pulling the clutch in when going down hill and sometimes the noise remains sometimes it disappears. It’s not always there and is not so bad when the tyres are cold but gets worse after about 20 miles.

If you have the music on all the time you might not have noticed 😀 but I will be so happy if the noise disappears 🙏

Anyway happy riding and thanks again.
