The damping kit and risers are already fitted on the Explorer models. It's the black rubbers under the risers, clearly visible.

Hi i am running a male plug from the plug point with a cable directly into my satnav mount ( on the bars as i think above the clock obstructs a view of the road surface )  - i just unplug it or pull the satnav from the mount

Hi from newbie to forum. Introduced myself, so 2nd post on here. Gen4 GT Pro.
Being 'worldwide' this site is a good source of info but I'm finding it hard to navigate.
So, pun intended, hopefully this thread, although a year old is the right place for update of same original question!
I've purchased an Evotech handlebar satnav mount for my Tomtom 550.
Assumed front din socket was obvious place for satnav power. Realise it's permanently live switch.
Will it be OK  to power with a good quality male din plug, attached to my shortened Tomtom lead if I disconnect when not in use for longer periods. I would always remove satnav when parked up.
Only need to power one accessory and don't want to run cables from power boxes etc.
Thanks for any advice.

Hello

@BasilB : Between Hexcan and Denali's Cansmart controller, which one is better? Apparently, apart from the color, they look identical. It seems that the Hexcan is less expensive.

The big rubber lump protects the tank from all those zips ! The lightness is the main benefit - Gen 4 handles a treat but the engine although quicker is not a patch on the 120 crank fit smoothness and sound - however I have learnt to live with it
