What I'd have wanted is the same seat bag as on the 1050 Tiger (with zips permanently secured to under the passenger seat). It would have allowed me not to have this disgracious top box of mine...

Agree with the aldi bag as I have one, but the carrying handles, strap loops and the roll over top and fixing on this gives it the edge when compared together so worth the extra couple of quid.

Camping in Shannonbridge, Ireland this weekend and wanted a cheap bag to keep the tent/sleeping bag dry. £14.50 for a 40L LOMO, outstanding value, delivered Scotland to Ireland in 48hrs. (next day UK) The 20L version for £12.50 is also a perfect fit to sit on top of the Triumph/Givi panniers but I have no need for those at this stage. Ignoring overpriced rok straps and picking up two straps from the local hardware store (B&Q) for €2.20 each I'm all set. Yes, that is a golfing umbrella on the bike, I don't play golf but it is the exact width of the panniers, I'm cooking my breakfast on the stove in the morning come hell or high water, the umbrella is probably going to come in handy (if the wind doesn't blow it away first)!

:0461:, LOMO stuff is very good. Got a few of the bags in various sizes. I prefer the holdall bags.

Yes, the regular drybag end fill suits items like tents and the like but the holdall bags are a bit more flexible and stylish for not a lot extra.
